Bill Toomey
Bill has been performing in various establishments in the North Shore area. He is a professionally trained singer from Barbara Morash who runs the Music is art Academy located in Stoneham, MA. He loves to perform music from the 1950’s thru the 1980’s and keep the spirit of great music alive by singing those songs you “Forgot to Remember”.
Bill grew up in Lexington, MA. Music was always his passion. In the early 1980’s his passion came true when he started to perform at local pubs and entertain crowds with his guitar. In the early 1990’s he performed in dinner shows singing and dancing to raise money for local charities. After raising his family he wanted to continue with his passion of singing. He has sung in multiple groups including a 1950’s Doo Wop Group.
Musical Accomplishments and Awards
* 2012 Male Entertainer of the year for Traditional Country music as well as most promising Male vocalist for the New England Country Music Organization. This allowed him the opportunity to travel to Tennessee and perform Nationally.
* 2013 Male Vocalist of the year for Traditional Country music for the New England Country Music Organization
* 2013 Male Vocalist of the year for Traditional Country Music at the Northeast Invitational Country Showdown
